Defensive Racism

Steele's well-written book can mentally jump-start the brains of good White folks.

YOU ARE SURE TO ENJOY Edgar Steele's new book, Defensive Racism. His matter-of-fact style is humorous, interesting, and fun to read. Even the in-depth explanation of economics, which some people find hard to get excited about, becomes, in his hands, another fascinating aspect of our present situation. 

In Defensive Racism Mr. Steele includes just the right amount of personal information, so the reader gets to know, like, and respect the author. Mr. Steele is a rarity among men: an attorney who defends "racists." That is reason enough to buy his book. He is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court. 

One of the many interesting quotes in Defensive Racism is by Gide: "Everything has been said before, but since nobody listens we have to keep going back and beginning all over again." Much of what is so well told in Defensive Racism will be familiar to informed White people, but Mr. Steele's presentation of the material is so first-rate and authoritative it is sure to leave the reader best pleased.

One of the many things Mr. Steele writes about is the Balkanization of America along ethnic lines. Balkanization has been so often predicted (Civil War Two, and others) that it is becoming a genre of its own. The fantasy is that as tensions between the races become more intense, White people will move to the northwest; Blacks will take the south; Mexicans the southwest, etc. But that means the tens of thousands of Mexicans now living in Idaho would have to move to the southwest. Balkanization... if only! 

Since all of Mexico will soon be in America maybe we should go to Mexico, take over, and turn it into another America. Then when more Third World peasants illegally immigrate to the new White MexAmerica we could take over some other Third World hell hole and turn it into a thriving New America. Hey, that's no more far-fetched than Balkanization. 

Although Mr. Steele claims to be a Redneck, he does not address Redneck resolve in his excellent book. There are millions of Rednecks in the hollers of Appalachia and all over America who are not going to be intimidated by anyone. They are not going to move away from land that may have been in their family for generations. Defiant independence defines them; it is their blessing and their curse. As Jim Goad says in The Redneck Manifesto; the difference between White trash and a Redneck is: White trash will piss you off because they are stupid and don't know any better, but a Redneck will do it to spite you. 

Rednecks are open and up front about everything, and it is their decisiveness of character which frightens people. A lot of the stereotyping of Rednecks as "mean" is the work of the media. For example, in 1971 when James Dickey was doing research for the book Deliverance, he went on a canoe trip alone. His canoe capsized in whitewater, and he almost drowned. He was saved and taken back to civilization by a couple of Redneck backwoodsmen. But that didn't make a good story -- no bad guy. So he changed the kind, helpful hillbillies into crude, nasty, brutes and made the Rednecks the bad guys. 

Fortunately, all the negative stereotyping doesn't work. A large percentage of the people at NASCAR events, the biggest spectator sport in America, are Rednecks. Country music is by far the most popular music in America and many country fans are Rednecks. The song, "Redneck Woman" by Gretchin Wilson just shot up the charts faster than any song in history. Professional Bull Riding on the Outdoor Life Network is the best thing on television, and many PBR fans are Rednecks. Redneckness is a source of power and strength that will defend its own to the death. 

Mr. Steele advocates the calm, clean, well-dressed approach when trying to educate someone about race, and that is good advice for many people. However, for White people who are emasculated by non-Whites every day at work, at school, or in their community, an in-your-face attitude may be more appropriate for them. 

Many White men work where the female employees and "minorities" have joined forces against the White male employees. And people who have lost their neighborhood, their school, and their community to Blacks or Third World immigrants may have a healthy urge to let their race flag fly. More White power to them. Maybe the future belongs to the furious. 

Although we are all on the same team we have different perspectives. Imagine a White guy cruising around in his new Lexus listening to satellite radio and thinking about race. Now imagine another White guy driving an old pick-up truck with no air conditioning and a broken radio trying to dodge the rocks and bottles being hurled at him by some "minority" street people. He's thinking about race too, but from a different perspective. 

Mr. Steele's opinion that White people are not superior to other races flies in the face of reality, and plays into the hands of non-Whites and egalitarians. Of course we are superior to them! Even they know it; it's one of the reasons they hate us. There is a world of proof that we are superior -- and no proof of equality. Proud racially conscious White people who know they are superior are like the five percent tin that is added to ninety-five percent copper to make brass, which is three times as hard as copper alone. If not for us and our resistance, the rest of the White race would roll over like a whipped puppy. 

In Defensive Racism Edgar Steele sets the record straight on immigration, affirmative action, IQ, Jews, interracial crime, and much, much more. Anyone can write about race issues, but when Edgar Steele does, it is coming from an attorney who has defended racially conscious Whites in court. Everyone who wants to be informed about race relations in America today will treasure his new book.
